My new pack members

 

Summer was called to the alpha’s office to meet with the alpha and Beta. She was informed that there has been a threat towards the beta of the pack. The alpha received a letter that was delivered to the pack house earlier that day. Someone knows the Beta is pregnant and has threatened to take their pups away. The Beta starts to cry, while the alpha just rubs her back.

Summer we are hoping you can track them back to their sent, to discover what is, going on. The Beta is due to have or pups in two weeks, she can not handle all this stress. The alpha has increased her security to so many the beta is frustrated because she does not get out of bed without someone knowing she is awake and moving around. I told them I would be honored to help protect the pack and our future alpha.

I left twenty minutes after I caught the smell of who ever left the note for our Alpha. It was faint but if it is possible to find this person, I will find them. I stripped down to my wolf form picking my bag up I my mouth and started following the trail. The trail lad me to the neighboring pack, which is weird because they are our allies. I was granted permission to enter from their alpha James. James was surprised to see me here. I explained what I was doing, and why I was here. James explained they chased a group of rogues through their land yesterday, they were headed north. The wolf they saw was a large black wolf with white paws. I thanked him for the information, declined dinner and took off to in my wolf form to continue. As soon as I left the pack territory, I picked up the sent again. The crazy thing is I can not tell if the person is female or male at this point.

After five hours of moving north following the sent I mind linked the alpha to let him know where I am, and where I am headed. I continued for four more hours knowing I needed to stop to rest and eat some food. I found a cave to stay in, setting myself up in the back to keep dry and hidden. I created a small fire and cooked some meat, after I had my fill of meat and water, I packed all my things back off and returned to wolf form to rest and keep warm.

I knew it was at least four hours after I went to sleep, I stretched and finished the meat and water from last night and started moving towards the scent again. The sent was getting stronger after two more hours of continued north. As I continue to climb, I can tell I am getting closer to someone because the scent is getting stronger. I come over a ridge and see a black wolf laying under a tree sleeping. As I creeped closer, I can tell it is a female wolf, who is a rogue. Rogues are people who do not belong to packs for many different reasons. I jumped on her holding her down, she looked old and sick and was not strong.

I let her up and told her to change into her human form. She changed I handed her a shirt to put on so she would not be naked. I asked her what the fuck she was thinking threatening our Beta saying she would take their pups. She explained they were having 10 pups would she really miss one? Of course, she would, those are her babies. The lady informed me her name was Sarah and she lost her mate a long time ago, they never had pups, and she has never been given any.  That does not excuse you trying to steal someone else’s child. Sarah continued to get agitated the more I pointed out the flaws in her logic. I sent messages to my alpha around what I discovered and what the reasoning behind the note. He told me to handle the situation what way the pack would.

I continued to interrogate the rogue; she was dead set on taking one of our Beta’s pups. No matter how much I tried to persuade her, I knew she was to far gone. I walked forward and snapped her neck, one quick break. My priority is to always protect my pack, my alpha, my Beta, my mate, and my pups. That is where my loyalty lies. I destroyed the body and stated to make my back to my pack house.

When I arrived everyone in the pack house was running around excited. I figure it was time for the pups to arrive. I was right. After four hours of labor our Beta delivered ten pups, seven boys and three girls. I got to see the pups around two hours after they were born when I gave them the update that the threat had been eliminated and the Beta and Alpha can rest, knowing the threat is gone.

The Beta named her youngest daughter Theta, and her middle name is Summer. I was touched that she would give her daughter my name as a middle name. I hugged them both and kissed the babies and left to go home and get ready for my date tonight…maybe it will go great and then I can have pups sometime in the future.
